SmartKickers Swim offers lessons for a wide age range—from toddlers to adults.

Our program and teaching approach is tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of each age group:

1. Toddlers and Young children (2-6 years old)

Objectives:

  • Introduce water safety and comfort.
  • Develop basic water skills through play.
  • Encourage positive water experiences.
  • Build foundational swimming skills.
  • Enhance water safety awareness.
  • Foster a love for swimming through fun activities.

Learning Goals:

  • Basic Swimming Skills: Floating, gliding, kicking, and basic arm movements.
  • Water Safety: Understanding pool rules, safe entry and exit, and basic self-rescue techniques.
  • Confidence: Developing confidence in the water.

2. Older Children (7-12 years old)

Objectives:

  • Refine swimming techniques and introduce all four strokes.
  • Develop endurance and strength.
  • Emphasize water safety and basic rescue skills.

Learning Goals:

  • Stroke Development: Learning and refining freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
  • Endurance Building: Swimming longer distances with proper technique.
  • Safety Skills: Treading water, basic rescues, and understanding open water safety.

3. Teens (13-17 years old)

Objectives:

  • Master swimming techniques and improve speed.
  • Prepare for competitive swimming if desired.
